Question

In RH2022, fonts in header are purple; should be white. Fonts in ToC are blue, then purple when selected; should be tan (#705505)

I’ve gone into great detail to ensure that all fonts everywhere are coded for the correct color. Never had a situation like this before. No matter what I do, fonts are goofball. Like this:

It’s even more curious now. The opening page is fine -- everything looks as designed:

This is what it’s supposed to look like.

Okay, let’s check one of the topics:

    Back to the Purple Weirdness

...and when I go back to the original page, all is fine again…

Doesn’t it seem odd that a template will manage one page perfectly, but the others it just ignores?

    Check your settings here.

I see the purple also shows in the TOC but one step at a time.

Yes, Pete, that’s what I’ve done in this and all previous projects:

...and, yes, the ToC listings change colors when they are selected. But, to repeat myself, the first page goes back to its proper format…

BTW: every item that might have a font associated with it gets the same font formating:

Start by going to the template and looking in the TOC section. You have not said which template you are using (it’s default name, not any customised name you have applied).

I’m guessing the purple toc items have been clicked and the blue one has not. The fact the title is also mauve suggests some change you have made is overriding other styles.

I recall telling you way back to back up your template before making changes. Go back to an earlier template.

...in fact, I’ve tried several colors, but all I get is that curious purple...
