Index File doesn't Call the Skin asks to download file in SP

We have never been able to publish using Robohelp. My process is to generate the files in RH, then I have to upload the files to SharePoint, and the index file has always worked, and opened the main page of the skin.

However, now when I upload the files and click on the link from the main page (that always worked before) I get an error.  Then, I try to click on the index.aspx file and it downloads the file and asks me to open the file. When I click on the 'open file' link I get a pop-up asking me to choose the app to open the file.

I'm on version 2022.4.179.

Early on when Adobe was trying to help us publish, we hit this situation and I was told that there is an open issue with Microsoft and Adobe, and that I would need to upload files as a workaround. But now the uploading of files doesn't work either.

Anyone know if this is an issue with Microsoft and Adobe? And when it might get resolved. We need our Knowledge Base to work, and right now we are dead in the water.  Our Knowledge Base is a critical tool in the everday processes that help our reps serve our members.

Thanks,

Carmela Wilbur

That sounds like a setting in SP on how files are to be treated (launching vs. downloading) in the browser.

Have you tried uploading using some other tool such as FileZilla.

I can't comment on the underlying problem for which it might be worth going back to Adobe.
