Insert a new image to RoboHelp and it displays as old image - 2020 New UI

Hi,

I saved over an existing image and then inserted the new image into my project. But even though I got rid of the old image, it is still the one that displays.

Does anyone know what is going on? I could rename the image instead of saving over it, but that would cost me a lot of time.

Thanks,

Julianna

I've resorted to renaming the new images and going back and removing the old ones. I'm changing multiple images so it's not feasible to open and close the project each time to confirm the correct image is showing.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

Do you have some sort of source control at play here? I've been overwriting existing images with new ones all day today and they refresh in the project immediately.

That's the theory. I have seen it fail, hence the suggestion.

Technically I think the new image is supposed to autmatically once the old one has been saved over. At lease it used to.

In the project. I will try closing the project after I've taken the new screen shots.

I'll let you know how it works.

    Thanks,

Try closing the project and reopening it.

Displays where? In the RH project or in your generated output?
