Inserting header and footer

Hi,

I have tried all possible ways to include the header and footer. Even I used master page. But when I apply master page to a topic and viewed before generating printed doc output, it shows the header and footer but once output is generated its not appearing. Please help me how to include header and footer without using master file.

But robohelp generate web output with header and footer. why not possible with printed document?

Even I tried to insert a variable and snippets as header but that also did not work out. I'm trying this from last 2days.

Please help me out.
