Installation of Robohelp 2019 causes Windows 11 to crash

I have tried 2x of OS Windows 11 to install robohelp 2019 and both times had to reinstall the entire operating system.
Does anyone have the same experience or know the cause?

I understand that 2020 should be certified when Update 7 is released. Meantime the indications are that it works fine but it remains your choice as to whether or not to install prior to certification.

2019 will not be certified so it's your call as to whether to try it on Windows 11. My guess is that the new UI is likely to be OK but it is just that, a guess. I don't know about 2019 Classic.

It's a long shot, but you could try the compatibiity settings to see if there's a Windows 10 mode (I don't have Windows 11 to see what's available). To find the settings, right-click on the exe file, select Properties and open the Compatibility tab.

    Hi,

Wondering did you get either RoboHelp 2019 or 2020 to work on Windows 11?  I just got a PC with Windows 11 and Adobe advised that Robo 2020 is not certified on Windows 11 yet.

    Thanks,

    LR

I don't believe any version of RoboHelp is supported on Windows 11 yet. I guess it will be but not yet.

Well, until the RH folks release some guidance about RH and Win11, I'd stay away from it in your production environment.

If you're just testing, I wouldn't expect RH2019 to be the right candidate to play with - I'd start with an updated RH2020 trial install.
If it still persists with the latest patched version of RH2020, then you'd need to contact the RH folks at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.
