Installing RoboSource Control 3 Server

We upgraded to RH7 and installed both RH7 and RoboSource Control 3 (Client) on my machine. I found directions on "things to do before installing" from Peter Grainge. Among those directions, it specified uninstalling the previous version of RH from my computer before installing the new version. That all worked out okay.

Now, we need to upgrade the server with RoboSource Control 3 Server, but I haven't seen any instructions stating the need to uninstall the previous version. Is that necessary before installing 3 or can we install the upgrade on top of it?
