Integrating FlashHelp with Flash movie

I would like to place my flashhelp project onto the Flash stage (using CS3 Flash). Is there a way to do this?

Brief explanation: I've converted a product guide from .doc to RH (mainly for user navigation and usability). My main shell is in Flash, and I'd like to wrap it around my flashhelp project and include many swfs as "showme" that correspond to the various sections in the product guide.

Does this make sense, or is there a better way to accomplish something like this?

Hi Jim

From what you have told us, it would seem that you are somehow expecting FlashHelp output to consist of a single Flash .SWF file. Sorry, but that's nowhere near the case. What FlashHelp is, is very similar to WebHelp. You have a swarm of files involved. The TOC, Index, Glossary and Search are presented to the user via Flash .SWF files.

Normally folks will insert "showme" SWF content into their topic pages.

I'm not saying it's impossible, as I've managed to accomplish many seemingly impossible tasks myself. But I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone create a Flash wrapper and pull RoboHelp content into it.

Cheers... Rick
