Issue with Border Automatically Appearing for MP3 Audio in RoboHelp 2019 Classic WebHelp Output

Hi,

I am facing an issue while using RoboHelp 2019 Classic to generate WebHelp output. When I add an .mp3 audio file to my topic, the generated output automatically adds a border around the audio player.

I tried the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Modified the HTML code by changing style="border: 1px solid;" to style="border: none;" in the HTML view while authoring.
  2. Despite the changes, the border reverts to style="border: 1px solid;" in the generated WebHelp output.

It seems like RoboHelp is overriding my changes during the generation process.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Could you suggest an appropriate solution to ensure the border is removed from the audio player in the final WebHelp output?

This issue is only with Robohelp Classic version not the Robohelp Reimagined one.

I would run a "find & replace" on your output - it's been known that RH will "correct" your attempts to change the code in the authoring mode.

For my project, the output needs to be generated daily to incorporate new features. However, this requires frequent changes to the style attribute (find and replace) to prevent automatic border generation. Is there an alternative solution to restrict automatic border generation without modifying the style attribute each time?

What about defining the audio object as a style and set the properties to the desired non-border?
