It is read only content

I'm using RoboHelp 2022. When I try to edit my topics, I keep getting a message that says "It is read only content." Does anyone have an idea why I'm getting this message?

 

I am able to edit the html in RoboHelp but not the normal view.

 

I've tried closing and reopening RoboHelp. I also checked that the topic is not marked as read-only in Windows.

    I was receiving this error as well today on some text I was trying to hyperlink. I typed the words again on a new line and was able to hyperlink the new words.

    I highlighted the (older) words I was having the error with and used the Delete key instead of the backspace key on my keyboard. It deleted the content and I am not receiving the error any more.

    Weird - have you got the 3rd patch applied to your RH2022?

    @Jeff_Coatsworth I am running Rh 2022.3.93 version. Is this the latest?

      It could be you have a placeholder in the topic or something and the cursor happens to be in/on that placeholder. Can you post a screenshot of a problem topic in Robohelp so we can see if we can spot anything?
