Laptop refresh with RH8

My company will be refreshing my laptop, upgrading to Windows XP. could this be a problem with RH8?

    Do you really mean upgrading to XP or do you mean upgrading to Windows 7?

    You cannot upgrade from XP to 7. You have to rebuild the machine, as your IT people will know, and that means all your applications will have to be reinstalled. You should deactivate RoboHelp 8 before they start.

    After the installation make sure you apply the RoboHelp 8 patches before you open any project.

    RoboHelp 8 is not supported on Windows 7 64 bit. Also if Office is also being upgraded, Word 2010 is not supported by RoboHelp 8.
