Latest Version of Robohelp 2019.0.9 version Incorrectly expands small images

Summary

The latest version of Robohelp 2019.0.9 version Incorrectly expands small images so they fill the entire width of the page.

Mobi file generated where the tiny image fills the whole page! ...

However the same image draws perfectly fine within RoboHelp

Detail

1) Correct Code within Robohelp project ....

<p>3) Scroll down and click on the  <img alt="" height="24" src="assets\images\OverviewOfThisBook\StartFreeTrail.png" width="85" /> button.</p>

2) Generated EPub output containing the above code.

<p>
      2) Click on the&#160;<img alt="" src=
      "assets/images/OverviewOfThisBook/StartFree.png" style=
      "width: 100%; max-width: 60px;" />&#160;button.
    </p>

So as you can see the error is that Robohelp incorrectly generates the html max-width.

So when I run ...

Kindlegen C:\KindleGen\PowerBI.epub

I get the following result ....

Kind Regards,

Also there are later versions than 09 you could try to minimise the loss of other features in the updates.

I confirm in the above scenario the 'Use Thumbnail" check box is unchecked.

I agree RoboHelp should generate the correct code but I didn't know whether the code in your point 1 was as generated or modified. I have since found no matter what unit you specify in Properties, RoboHelp converts it to pixels and just shows that without specifying they are pixels.

There is one other thing that could cause this and I don't know if Adobe checked that with you. When you click the image, the Properties panel shows a Use Thumbnail option. Is that ticked? There are also thumbnail options in the preset. Worth checking.

This has been acknowledged as a bug ... RH-6168.

The work around is to uninstall the latest update install 2019.0.9 and install the base version https://www.adobe.com/products/robohelp/vipdownload.html 2019.0.5

Thanks for your reply Peter,

If there is an issue with the HTML I would expect the fix for this bug to generate the correct HTML from the Robohelp 2019 GUI.

I've noticed the HTML has no measurement type specified. Inches, pixels etc.

With something specified does it still happen? If so try with another output type, then post back.
