Link to Previous Translation Project Freezes RoboHelp

I have managed to successfully translate a RoboHelp project by exporting the files and importing them again.  I'm now attempting to link to the translated project from the next version of the English. It allows me to select the check box to link it and then select the rhpj file. However, when I click Done, RoboHelp goes blank and hangs.  I have tried several times and even left it for several hours but I can't get it to work. 

I'm am linking to the rhpj of the translated project and not the English version which I assume is correct? 

I'm using RoboHelp 2020.7.46
