Linked Framaker Files in Robohelp: Sync doesn't work

Framemaker Version: 16.05.1096

Robohelp Version: 2022.1.188

I upgraded a Robohelp Classic Project that consists of linked Framemaker files. When I change a Framemaker file, this change will not synchronized in the html topics.

I tried to update Robohelp, it didn't work with the error message "Updates are deactivated".

How can I solve this?

Internal version v16 is the FM2020 version (I just went through the exercise of updating the Wikipedia page to remind myself of the numbering sequence) - you want to be on FM2022 as Peter says. I'd update the FM content first and then try the RH project.

I am not a Framemaker user. The version you need is Framemaker 2022, is that 16.05.1096?

Your RoboHelp version is up to date.

The message you got is one I have never seen. It should be No Updates Available. I see though the update flow has changed in the last few days so maybe they were deactivated whilst the change was implemented.

I can't help you on the Framemaker sync issue but hopefully another forum supporter can help there. They will not be online for a few hours yet.
