Links stopped working in RoboHelp

I have RoboHelp Version 2020.7.46. (Not Classic) When I try to use the Mini TOC or any link at all, the links do not work when I publish the file, either locally or to SharePoint. They stopped working a few weeks ago. I even deleted the Mini TOC and created the links using hyperlinks and bookmarks but no luck.

Adobe Support solved this problem for me. This file was originally created several years ago and there was some corrupt code in it. Deleted the code and I am good to go.

I have referred this to our IT department. It may take weeks to solve so I will be using workarounds. Thanks to everyone who posted. I will let you know what they find out.

Umm, the sample project output isn't a corporate thing, so I'd say you're in the clear. However, there's nothing stopping you from downloading the trial RH2020 at home, updating it & running the sample project generation there.

I should have explained more clearly. In sample projects and all other RoboHelp projects the links work. Only my newest project is failing.

Ah, so to test if it's an IT reaction to "new" projects, dummy up a new project with a bunch of lorsum text and links and see if it works. I suspect it won't.

This and your other thread sound like something changed in your environment recently that has locked down your system. To test that assumption you can generate locally using the sample projects and then copy all the resulting output files to a non-corporate computer and see if all links work. If so, you've found your culprit & contact your IT.

I believe the culprit is the new security protocols that have been implemented. However, it's only one RoboHelp project. All the other ones work. Also, not allowed to put corporate applications or files on non corporate computers, so no way to check that. I will check with IT and see if anything they have done would affect the links. Thanks loads.

Can you try generating one of the sample projects and see if the links work there? If not, that would indicate some change on your computer or network security or something.

If I generate locally or to SharePoint, the links fail and I get this error message. The webpage at https://xxx.sharepoint.com/sites/RoboHelpOnline/Shared%20Documents/xxx/undefined#OI_Comments_and_Ratings might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
