Question

Looking to create tech tip bubble like I've seen in Peter Grainge's RH tours.

I created a 2-cell, single-row table to insert an image in the first cell and associated text in the second cell. My tables render well on larger monitors or when the navigation page is hidden; otherwise, on smaller screens (i.e., laptop), the images and text in the tables get scrunched or border lines appear for no reason. This doesn't bode well when customers need to see this information.

I've wanted to used text boxes in RH 2020.7, but they are not editable for border color, sizing, etc. It's a real disappointment. In Word or PowerPoint, I can create text boxes and format them in almost any fashion possible. I've thought of creating them in one of those apps and copying into RH, but I need to be able to edit them on the fly and not have to recreate them in Word or PP all the time.

@Peter Grainge has an excellent example of what I want to create on his RH 2020 tour site, but I don't know how to recreate what he's done. I don't know if he's using a single-cell table to create his tech tip bubbles.

Any help on how to create such is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I'm enclosing two images: one from Peter's RH tours that I like and want to emulate and one from PPT that I did on how I'd like mine to appear - if possible?!?

You just need to open the CSS file in source view and copy it into your CSS.

It's the p.emphasis1 style in the About RoboHelp sample project.

Unless you are expecting a letter from some solicitors who are holding millions of pounds/dollar they believe are yours, I strongly recommend changing your username. 🙂

@Peter Grainge Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure which sample project you're referring to. Is the About RoboHelp sample project on your site, grainge.org? Again, thank you.

I found it. I will search through the sample project to locate the styling. Thanks.
