Mac - RH 2020 v6 - Deprecation errors

Hello,

Is anyone else having issues with the deprecation of libraries used by RH?

I am one of those users that has to launch RH from the command line in order to generate PDFs.

This week, my builds have been taken much longer to generate and sometimes get stuck in a loop where the process never completes.

In my terminal window, i am getting errors like the ones below when i try to generate a PDF.

(node:3487) [DEP0005] DeprecationWarning: Buffer() is deprecated due to security and usability issues. Please use the Buffer.alloc(), Buffer.allocUnsafe(), or Buffer.from() methods instead

Whilst a ticket at https://tracker.adobe.com may be required I would go to Support first for a quicker reply. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

Have you tried updating to Patch 7 to see if the errors still appear?

not yet.  But the Buffer() deprecation was several years ago, which has me puzzled as why it is still being used.  I reinstalled update 6 and i still encounter that issue.  Digging through the logs, I also found a memory leak error as well.  I will create a ticket for both.
