Where do the MapIDs reside in a pupblished project?

I know I can export the MapIDs file and hand the .ali file to developers. They should know what to do with the information stored in the .ali file?

When I publish the project, I cannot see the .ali file? Is there supposed to be one when the project is published? Where does the MapID info reside?

I'd like to be able to explain this to the developers in a meeting, but can only explain "my side" of the process.

Thanks again in advance for all info you can provide.

P.S  By now it should be pretty obvious I know next to nothing about coding 😉

I thought MapID files were still .h ones - it should be copied into your output upon generation, but if it's not, you can always copy it manually from the project folder into the output folder.

Thanks Jeff, we just figured it out based on your feedback. My confusion stems from the fact that I don't know/understand how developers make a call to the published RH file ... over my paygrade   😉

So ... it's a manual process ... once we're done setting all the MapIDs, we just generate the H file and say "Here ya go Devs, have at it!"
