Microcontent appearing twice in search results

RH2022 - Frameless output - also tested with RH2020 update 6.

I am testing out more frameless options (moving from the html5 output).  I inserted a test microcontent group into my toc and then selected Hide In Output in the content properties for the group.

When i search using the search term i set for the mc, support in the example screenshot, it brings up the mc in a featured box (which i wanted) but also as a regular search result (and the page the second result takes you to is automatically generated upon build within the mc folder).  Is there a way to prevent the mc from showing up in the regular results?

I want to use MC as featured search results only based on our search results metrics (basically include additional information as key results based on previous customer search behavior).

This is how i used microcontent in madcap so I am not sure if i am doing this properly or if its not possible in RH.  Also I have tried populating MC from regular topic content as well - it still creates that MC topic page which shows up in the search results.

I can't seem to delete this question but i found the answer.  For anyone else that hits this, you must go the MC's content properties and select the exclude from search results option.
