Question

missing files

My compiled RoboHelp project (as of yesterday, 23 Nov) seems to have all its files; however, I called up the .xpj file today and discovered that perhaps a dozen or so files seem to be missing from various folders.  I can import them back into the .xpj file, but that, of course, does not address the source of the problem, and would be time consuming anyway.

Any ideas about what causes files to arbitrarily go missing?

Lon

Hi Lon

Have you read the Sticky announcement listed in this forum? Have you applied the critical update mentioned inside?

Your suggestion seems to refer to RoboHelp 8 (or even 7); I'm still using RoboHelp HTML 6.  Is that bad?

No, 6 is not bad other than being a couple of years old.

However, you might have avoided the issue by first advising the version you are using. This is also explained in the links we post in order to try and save all of us grief and unnecessary work.
