More print output questions

I am generating a print output from RoboHelp 10. I have some questions:

1. Is there a way in RoboHelp or in Word to scale the size of all images in the document to a constant width?

2. Is there a way to output a word document in 2 columns?

3. How do we create hyperlinks to the keywords in index? When I output Word output with index, I see only page numbers and no links to the document topics.

Best regards,

Vinay

No way that I am aware of. It is something that would need to be done after creating the document.

  1. This requires you to either get the images the size you require BEFORE adding them to your RoboHelp topic or resizing them after you've created your Word file. You may want to check out one of the many applications that can resize images to a specific size in batch mode. Riot is one I've used.

  2. I am not sure you can do this directly from the Printed Documentation SSL. You could have a separate Word template setup with the columns and cut / paste the content from one Word file into another.

  3. This can't be done in RoboHelp. You'd have to add your own cross references in Word after the file has been created.
