Multiscreen HTML 5 and Synchronizing TOC

For the desktop screen layout, I want to stop the TOC from synchronizing automatically. We are having an issue when the product links to the Help, if the topic is far down in the TOC, the topic pane appears blank until you scroll back to the top. Anyone have a suggestion on whether it is possible to change the default behavior?

If you are on RoboHelp 11, try looking into the Responsive layouts.

You can change this behaviour by modifying the positioning of the sidebar and topic contents. This is quite complex so I would advice looking into the Responsive output.
