Multiscreen HTML5 output launches both desktop and android versions

Hi

I am using RH10, as part of TCS4.

I am publishing my project into Multiscreen HTML5 output, with Desktop, Android phone, and Android tab screen profiles.

When I launch the index.html file from my android devices (Nexus 5 and Nexus 7), both desktop and corresponding android versions launch. I am launching these FireFox browser as I am yet to find out out to open a local HTML file in Chrome (Android newbie here).

Is this an issue with my device/ browser or is it something I need to set it up in RH?

I do remember

This would mean there is something amiss with the Screen Profiles.

Perhaps because Firefox mobile is picked up as regular 'Firefox' by the

sniffer. And if the resolution of your device is high enough, I may

understand why it is behaving as it is.

Can you place the output on a web server and try Chrome and FF from

there? (You can also create a website locally with IIS but your phone

must be able to access network locations.)

Willam

Hi,

How are you opening the help? Normally, when you open the global

index.htm, the system sniffs the device and only opens a single device

output. So I'm quite baffled by the behaviour you describe.

That is right. That is what even I expected to be. (You taught us if you remember )

In fact, sometimes I see another weird behaviour. When I launch the global index.htm, it opens the desktop version on my mobile. When I click Back once or twice, it takes me to the Android version of the course.
