Question

My index is not displaying in my compiled Responsive HTML5 output.

I recently converted a Robohelp 2019 project with an index, to Robohelp 2020. The index shows in the "Author" tab, however it does not show in the Responsive HTML5 output when I generate it. I followed the instructions to check "Include Index," however the index tab is empty in the compiled output.

Test the same issue in the About RoboHelp sample project. That will establish whether it is a general problem or a problem specific to your project.

Click Open Project and browse to Documents, then My RoboHelp Projects.

I don't think the later updates contained any index fix but it might be worth trying that as well.

Hi Peter - I converted one of the sample projects, "Robohelp Reimagined" from 2019 to 2020, and compiled it and the index is showing for that project. I guess this means that the issue is with my project. Do you know how I can fix the issue in my project?

Hi Jeff - I only see RH 2020 not any version.

I think it's either on the starter screen or in Help > About RH.

Was it actually fixed by applying a patch?

What point version of RH2020 are you on? This sounds familiar & may have been fixed in a patch.
