Hi.

I use Adobe Robohelp version 10. I am planning to migrate Robohelp to MediaWiki and on web i can see the below link

http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:RoboHelp2Wiki

This link has process to convert  RoboHelp X5.0.2 through Adobe RoboHelp 8 to MediaWiki but I have Adobe RoboHelp 10. Can anyone let me know if the same procedure can be used for Adobe RoboHelp 10 to Mediawiki conversions?

Will this still be the requirement?

Requirements[edit | edit source]

  • RoboHelp X5.0.2 through Adobe RoboHelp 8
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 or later
  • Login to a MediaWiki Wiki 1.7 through 1.11 (1.15.1 if source code is updated as per discussion)

The export described is the same in RH10 as it is in RH8. So I would

guess you would be fine.

If you tried it, please let us know whether it worked for you.

Kind regards,

Hi William,

I am not able to do this step as i cant find option Export Project to XHMTL on RH10. Can you please help.

Step 1 RoboHelp[edit | edit source]

  • From within RoboHelp, move all image files in RoboHelp to a root directory called images
  • Generate a XML Output file from the Single Source Layouts. To do that, you have to choose the option Export Project to XHMTL
  • Note the name of the XML Project.

Hi there

Look in the Single Source Layouts pod. You may need to right-click the pod and choose to create a new layout. From there, you would then see XML among the choices.

Cheers... Rick
