New Skin throwing application error and not publishing correctly.

My boss created a new skin for us to use. I added the new publish contents to my project and when I go to publish the content to HTML, the new skin is not being used. When I try to open the skin within RoboHelp, it throws an application error, and will not appear in the window. What should I do to resolve this?

Yes, export from boss's machine and import into yours, then select in the preset.

Is your boss also on Update 7?

When you say created, I assume you mean customised a supplied skin.

Yes, he customized a skin. We usually just copy the files from the RH folder from one to the other and it works. Thanks for pointing out the Version, he was still on 2019.14 - fortunatley I have both 2020 and 2019 on my machine and I tried opening the RH project with 2019 and that worked. Thanks for your time and responses!

"I added the new publish contents to my project" - not quite sure what you're doing in this operation. Usually you'd have to export out of one project & import into another to transfer something over - in RH2020, I'm not sure of the procedure, but I'm sure that you have to specify the new styling in your Output Preset for HTML5.

Let's start with the basics - what exact point version of RH are you using? What output are you creating?

I'm using 2020.7.46 nad I'm trying Responsive HTML5 and the skin works for my boss.... but not for me.
