Hi,

Do we have the option to add notes in the pages in RoboHelp 2022 as in RoboHelp 2017?

Can anyone help?

    Now it makes some sense. 🙂

    Open the CSS file you use from here.

    To the right will be blank. Click on the Source view icon

    Go the end of the file and paste the code in there. Save the change.

    Open a topic and go to a new line and in the Styles pod you will see the new style. Click on that.

    Post back if not clear.

    Sorry I misunderstood your requirement.

    You say you generated the code and ask how to apply it. It is code that you add to your CSS and then the style will appear in the styles pod. On a new line you then select the style.

    Is that what you mean?

    What's confusing here is that you seem to have been doing this in 2017 and the method hasn't changed.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the mess. Actually we pasted the codes given above in the source of Robo Help 2022 as a trial.

    We would like to know whether we can create style for notes  from our end without the help of developers?

    We use our own makeshift method of notes by creating paragraph styles that sort of resemble notes:

    It's not ideal though.

    To approximate the note you showed, you could use the following CSS in your stylesheet:

    p.NoteInfo {
    font-style: italic;
    padding-top: 12px;
    padding-bottom: 6px;
    border: 1px solid black;
    }
    p.NoteInfo::before {
    font-weight: bold;
    content: "NOTE:";
    margin-right: 16px;
    }

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply. We generateed the code following your suggesions.

    Could you please advice how can we copy the format of note and apply it in the front end.

    Yes. These notes do not get included in an output.
