Page number 1 on every page in PDF - RH 2022.3.93

I placed a page number field in the footer of my layout.

But the pagenumber is 1 on every pdf page. I am getting frustrated about that.

What is wrong?

Not so much a solution as a try this.

First just create a new template without any customisation and make sure page numbering works there. Then check the layout and content css files in your template..

Creating a new Template did it. Page numbering is correct now.
I will proceed customising the layout.

Don't know much about page numbers in footers, but searching in Peter's site seems to imply that you use a PDF Layout Template to control & show that - https://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh_tour/rh2022/outputs/pdf_templates.htm?rhhlterm=%22page%20number%22&rhsearch=%22page%20number%22

Hi Jeff,

Yes indeed, the page number is in my PDF layout.
I placed the The strange thing is that the TOC page starts with page number 0 and all other pages have page number 1.

That looks like your TOC - what's the PDF Template layout look like?
