Page numbers wrong in index

I am generating a Word document with RoboHelp 6 HTML.

The index generated has entries that always point to the starting page of the topic (chapter) although the keyword is conatined, for instance, only on the fifth page of the topic. Nobody would find the information!

What is the soltuion for the case described to get correct page numbers in the index?

I reckon this is really a challenge so help is very much appreciated.

Sorry but that's the way it is. Remember that the way the Index works in RoboHelp is that it is associating a keyword with a topic, that keyword does not have to be in the topic for that to happen. So RoboHelp associates the keyword with the topic rather than any part of it.

For some reason, whilst you can associate a keyword with a bookmark in the online help, which could be used to achieve your objective, that doesn't carry through to Word. Haven't tried hard to make that work though. Might be worth exploring.

That's both a bug report and a wish form.

Thanks for your quick answer, very much appreciated!!

Yes, importing a Word doucument with index into RoboHelp also generates bookmarks associated with a keyword.

In RoboHelp's help it is also described how to associate a keyword with a bookmark instead of a topic.
Generating the printed documentaion (Word) shows me also the bookmarks I created in RoboHelp - they are there, but unfortuantely the keyword entry was skipped (there is no {XE myKeyword ...}).

IMHO this is a bug. What's worth an index in a printed documentation with wrong page numbers? Just nothing, it's really a showstopper regarding an index.

is there a place where I can input this? (hoping to get a fix one day...)
