Paragraph Tag and Page Layout, Master Page

When using FM 11. Can we set the Paragraph Tag 'Chapter' and have it always use the Page Layout, Master Page, Format 'Chapter'?

Years ago we could write macros for FM.

Is that still an option?

ExtendScript is included with FM, and I believe there were 3rd party tools for macro recording, but I never used them.
