Question

Pasting text in RoboHelp

Various forum posts over the years have required an answer along the lines of pasting text into RoboHelp without any formatting. The usual answer has been to either paste the text into a text editor first and copy it from there or use PureText. For years the latter was a downloadable freebie from the author's site and now it is part of the Microsoft Store.

Now Adobe have told me of another little gem that is built into the new UI versions. CTRL+SHIFT+V. 🙂

Oo! It even works in RH2019 New UI.

@Inna Iak_ko "New UI" is the grey minimalist interface that started in RH2019. That version released with two versions - Classic with the old colourful ribbon interface and the grey interface. Because of the confusion between the two, we started using New UI to highlight which version we were talking about.

Oh and I should note that from RH2020 there is only the new ui version, but because people still use the older versions we continue to use the naming to differentiate.
