PDF file import for HTML5 display as default topic

Hi,

I have a two-page manual cover in PDF format created in InDesign. I've chopped it in half in the hopes of using the first page as a default topic for HTML5 output so it acts as a landing page of sorts when launching a website for a manual. Is there a way to bring this into RoboHelp as an HTML file so I can select it as the default topic in the Output Preset?

I'm using RoboHelp 2020 for Mac.

Thanks

Peter's reply (and resource) worked! Thanks, Peter.

By the way, if you're working with "Word for Mac" you need to follow this path to access the UTF-8 encoding:

Word > Preferences > General > Web Options > Encoding > (Save this document as "UTF-8") or (Reload this Document as "UTF-8")

HTML is the only option. If you have Acrobat DC you can save the PDF in HTML format. There are then some extra steps that you will likely need. They are described in the attached file, ironically in PDF format. 🙂

I don't know if Acrobat Reader allows you to save the file in HTML format.
