Question

Pods have gone missing

Hello,

This is an issue in RoboHelp 8.

I just responded to the ongoing thread regarding the "View > Pods" issue, and I have tried Peter's solutions from there.

My project pods have also gone away. I have tried the "View" menu and the Tools > Options > Reset Tool Bar with no luck. Rebooted. No luck. I can see the Single Source Layouts pod which is still "pinned" to the side of my workspace, but the Project Manager and all other Pods are missing.

I have been working on the project since 8 a.m. this morning - and it's now 6 p.m. Project worked fine all day, until Project Manager pod suddenly vanished.

Forum Moderators - I solved it with a little help. File > Environment > Load Default Environment. In 7 1/2 years of using RoboHelp I've never run into this before now. Thanks!

    Hi there

    Just a few things.

    1. You asked the same question in multiple forum categories. Please don't do that.

    2. You didn't say where "a little help" came from. Might be helpful to know for others. Did you find it in the help? A Google resource? Where?

    3. You may have been using RoboHelp for 7 1/2 years but the Pods and Environments are relatively new to the application.

    Cheers... Rick
