Problems with generated Word file

For one of my manuals, when I generate a MS Word document (Print Document) from RoboHelp 7, the graphics are missing and I get a message at the TOC that says "Error! Bookmark Not Defined" I am only having this problem with one manual. The others generate a Word file with no problems.

When I generate my documents, I select the following:
-- Output format -- Generate a Word Document
-- Images -- Embed in Document
-- Settings -- Generate a single document, Retain hypertext links

Strangely enough, when I generate a PDF, I still get the "Error! Bookmark Not Defined" at the TOC but the graphics display just fine.

Anybody ever seen this?

Did you apply the tag to some text or to topics?

Either way it should not have that effect. Are you able to recreate this in a project you could send me?

In the TOC, I applied the conditional tag to a book icon and two topics underneath it. I am sorry that I cannot send you a sample of this project because everything that I work on is confidential. However, I could create a sample project to try to duplicate the problem. Unfortunately, I am somewhat busy today but maybe I could send that to you on Monday.

Thanks for responding. I figured out the problem. In my TOC, I had tagged a few items as conditional text. I just removed those items from the TOC and everything worked fine. I wonder if this is a bug.

Once again, thanks so much for looking into this.

Ken

Try doing it in two stages. Just generate a Word document. See if the TOC error occurs there. If it does, then right click alongside and select update field. Does that correct it?

If not, what option are you selecting in the last page of the wizard, Use CSS Styles, Use Style Mapping or Use Word template. Try style mapping if not already using that.

Also take a look at the printed documentation topics on my site.
