What is the purpose of having .css.gz file for all .css files in output of responsive html5 in robohelp 2020.

What is the purpose of csh-redirect.htm and csh-redirect.ejs files in output of responsive html5 in robohelp 2020.

I believe the GZ files are about speeding up search times. I have seen someone post that they removed them for some reason and the search was still OK. However, it could well depend on the server speed and was just OK for them.

My understanding of .gz files is that they're designed to speed up page loading times. Some browsers can take advantage of them; others can't.
As far as the purpose of the other 2 files; not really sure, but I think the name gives it away - csh is context sensitive help (i.e. a call from an application to a specific page/topic in the help set) & the redirect part is to send you to the appropriate page, I guess.
