Question Regarding Templates

Hello,

I am slightly confused about templates in a generated project. When the project ABC is generated, the template appears in the project folder ABC. However, the template does not appear in the WebHelp folder of project ABC.

How do topics retain the template properties if the template is not in the output folder?

    That'll be the elves that Adobe employ.

    They look at the source topic and the template that is in the source and then create a topic in the output that contains all the information to display the topic as you want it.

    I believe they use smoke and mirrors to do this. :-)
