Remove Meta tags from Output

Is there a way to exclude meta tags, such as this, from the generated output?

<meta name="generator" content="Adobe Framemaker 2017" />

I'm created Responsive HTML and lots of junk tags are added.

Any way to delete these at source rather than do a find and replace.
