Repeating text in text boxes

I am linking FM files in RH  (FM ver. 9.0p250, RH ver 8.0.2)

I have screenshots with callouts in text boxes, all sitting within anchored frames, so when it converts into RH the text becomes part of the image.

But when it converts, the text in the text boxes is repeated to fill up any blank space in the bottom of the text box.

If I close up the text box to the bottom of the text in FrameMaker, no problem, but I intentionally left gaps here for translations. I'm now getting all my translated FM files back ... hundreds of text boxes to be resized.

Very grateful if anyone can help

Um.... I've never seen this happen before, so I'm unsure of a solution without testing.

But for the future, I'd think about adopting a more translation-friendly strategy of labelling the "target" area of the screen snap with a number or letter, maybe with the number-in-a-circle font glyphs. Then insert a caption area near the graphic anchor but in the text flow to contain the text that goes with each keyed number. I've found that a table works nicely and it auto-resizes to match translated text growth/shrinkage.
