Review Notifications Unhelpful

Hi, my team and I are using the Robohelp (2022.4.179) review functionality to review a number of topics within one of our help systems. Is there an easier way to see which topics have comments other than opening every single one individually and checking? I see when I open the review online there's a notifications tab. However, it always claims my notifications will appear there and they do not. I get notifications in the Creative Cloud that someone has commented, but clicking the link seems to open a web version with an unhelpful file. I get email notifications as well, but they just open the review if I select "View all comments."

I suggest using Save As PDF, right click in the topic, and send that to your reviewers. It's easier for them to comment and you know what you have sent out.

It seems that Adobe are aware of these issues and currently the only solution is to get your reviewers help by including the topic titile in the comments. That way what you see in the email would be somewhat better.

I agree it is not how it should work and I suggest that while Adobe are aware, you nonetheless report it. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

I am wondering if there is a bug in 2022.4. To answer your question I set up a review from one Adobe account and sent it to another Adobe account. There I commented on just two topics and clicked Submit for each. I then got this notification.

On clicking the button I got this but to the best of my recollection, it should list the comments. I have asked an Adobe contact to check the process.

I will get back to you on that.

The workflow issue is knowing whether the reviewer has looked at all topics. In my test only two of six topics needed comment. However, the issue is how do you know that. I think the only solution to that is ask your reviewers to add No Comment where nothing is needed and/or to let you know when they have finished.

I have also queried whether there is a way for the reviewer to indicate they have finished.

I will post back when I hear from Adobe.

If anyone with more real world knowledge of the process can chip in, please do so.

Thanks! I don't see a way to edit my existing post but here are the images I'd attached.

Above is the notifications in the browser version of the review. Below is what happens when I click on a Creative Cloud notification.

Asking my reviewers to comment no comment if they think a topic is fine is helpful, but my main issue is finding the comments once they are made. I have 100+ notifications/comments and don't want to miss any. The only workflow I have found to find them is to manually open every single topic in the review regularly. The browser notifications do not appear to be working and the email notifications do not tell me which topic the comments are on, just that they are in the review in general.

"... manually open every single topic in the review regularly." - wouldn't you only do that when the review deadline is met? Then you review all the docs and deal with changes/comments accordingly; you don't let them continue to review the content until you send out the next round of revisions.
