I have a Related Topics sections on each help topic. Typically we add 2 to 3 related help topics as links here. Is it possible to add a link to a book instead of a help topic?

Correct answer Amebr

You can only link to topics, not to the table of contents.

However, you can link a ToC book to a topic, so you could potentially create an overview topic and link it to the book, then link to that topic.

So for example if your toc currently looks like

-Widgets

  - Creating a widget

  - Modifying a widget

  - Deleting a widget

You could create a Widgets topic (maybe it just says "This section describes all the tasks related to widgets", for example) and link it to the Widgets book. Then you can add the Widgets topic to your related Topics list.
