RH 2019 - Smart Index Wizard

Hi, is there any way to auto-generate index entries based on heading level, rather than topic name. Just out of curiousity, are there other people out there who have to continue using RH 2019 since the latest RH doesn't have the Smart Index Wizard or import of the Word doc TOC?

Smart Index was dropped in the new UI versions because, as @Jeff_Coatsworth said, it over indexed to the point where most people felt it was less than useful. Also there's a degree of having moved into the Search world.

Other than a few people when the new UI came out, there have been very few posts about the loss. The search has improved since Classic days.

Don't think so - I don't recall any ability to "guide" how the Smart Index function worked - it tended to index everything and then you had to prune the entries exhaustively to get anything sensible produced. In one of my projects that is a FrameMaker book imported into RH, I use the generated index created in FM to create my RH project index.
