RH 5 App Memory Error

When I attempt to save a changes, the following error msgs appear:

MSG 1. Title: RoboHTML.exe - Application Error
The instructions at "0x04006a86" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.

followed by MSG 2. Title: CiceroUIWndFrame: RoboHTMS.exe - Application Error
Same text as msg 1 (just different reference points).

The application closes & I am able to re-open it and see the changes, but I don't know what's causing the errors & most importantly what I need to do to correct it - any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the additional info Eva. Does the crash happen at the same point each time? If so, what have you changed?

No, I could not tie the crash to a particular action/activity. Accessing the project through the hhp. file eliminated the memory error messages but those were only replaced by the version control msgs. I have since changed the files statuses to 'checked in' and everything appears to be working fine.

Thank you!

Colum,
The project is stored on my desktop. Yes, the problem is specific to this particular project.

I'm not sure which topic I was working on when I first got the error msgs.

I have backed up the project files. I deleted the .xpj & .cpd files then opened the project using the .hhp file. Now I'm experiencing issues that point to version control, MSG:

The files in the list below could not be found in version control. You may need to get the latest version of this project before you can add version control information to this project.

The files are the latest version & this is a single author project.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions, thank you

Hi Eva.
Let me start with some questions. Is your project stored on a network drive? If so, move it to a hard drive. Is this only happening on one project? Try creating a new project and import the topic you were working in when the crash happened. Before you do anything though, take a backup of everything in sight just in case it is a PC hard disk problem.
