RH 7- Image resolution or home page resolution- webhelp

Hello,
I am currently using RH 7. I have to place an image (product logo) on the default page or home page which will be displayed when the user clicks on help button. The product logo is 1024x667 dimension. If the user’s resolution is 1024x667, then the image or product logo looks perfect. But, if the user’s monitor resolution is 1440x900 or any other monitor resolution greater than 1024x667, then I am observing that there is a gap on right-hand side and also at the bottom of the page.
I am currently selecting the option Topic Border and Shading from the Format menu and then select Shading to place or insert my image. I am not sure if this is the right step to do it. I did this because if the user has a lower resolution like 800X420 then we get a scroll bar on the home page which we did not want.
Questions:-
1.Can I fix or the default window of the browser resolution to 1024X667 through robohelp, so that when the user clicks the help button the browser is displayed in 1024x667 dimension?
2.Can the image (product logo) fixed as per the browser settings of the user?
3.Can we eliminate the gap in the home page?

I am sure this is a pretty long question, but please do guide me with a solution.

I went back to your first post and realised it is the image that is 1024 by 667. I was thinking that was the window size.

1] Your developers can fix the window size so you could go that route.

2] It might be possible but it would probably require some post generation work by your developers. I doubt they would want to go with that idea.

3] How about putting the image in a borderless table cell and centering it so that the margin is uniform? That will not work if the resolution is smaller but maybe work to the smallest size and accept a border on all other sizes.

Hello Peter,
Thank you for your suggestion’s and idea’s in making my project look good. I went with the third option for yours, I inserted a table and then placed the image within the table. The table is borderless and I then applied a background color similar to the image so that there will not be gaps even at a higher resolution. It looks good now.

Hello Peter,
The option of including the image in the skin didnot work out. I still get the same gap in higher resolution. I would also like to keep you posted about that my Home page image and other topic image is different. I am using a image for background also for which the size is 1546x1790 and it fits perfect.
I didnot want to ask my graphic guy to redo the home page image again, that is why i need a solution in Robo help.

Why not include the image in the skin in place of the RH image so that it is always visible and likely will not give you these problems?
