RH11: Baggage files number or size limits?

Hello,

I have a large WebHelp project that includes over 2300 pdf's as baggage, and I'm routinely adding more pdf's to the project. These are contained in multiple folders. I'm concerned that I will hit a limit for the number or size of baggage files.

  • Is there a limit for the number of baggage files that can be included in a project?
  • Is there a limit for the number of baggage files that can be included in a folder?
  • Is there a limit on the individual or cumulative size of the files?

Thanks for info,

Jeanne

Hi there

As far as I'm aware, the only limits are what would be imposed by your authoring machine. However, you would likely notice a slowdown because of indexing all that many baggage files. I believe I've seen that reported before.

Thanks Rick.

It does take a while to index, but I accept that as the price for making them searchable.
