RH2020 TOC Conflicted Copy

Today for the first time, we have a 2nd TOC that contains the same name plus this info in parentheses: (<my name> confilicted copy 2022-10-17).

It appears to be the same as the original.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks,

Paul

Cloud storage is fine if you are all working in different time zones or at least at different times. Simultaneous use will give issues like this and it is Dropbox that creates that name when two of you work on the TOC (in this instance) at the same time.

You need extreme discipline working off the cloud as what you really need is source control.

That makes sense, we'll discuss.    Thank you.

Are you using source control or storing information on a cloud storage like OneDrive? It's not something I've seen in RoboHelp, but it sounds like something either of those two tools might do if something went wrong with their processes.

    Thanks for the reply.

The 3 of us that Author use Dropbox to store and sync our project.
