RH2021 PDF master page margin for header and footer

Hi all,

My problem is the following: I enter the margins for the header and footer of the master page but when I generate the output nothing is changed. I tried entering the margins manually from the code but it doesn't work either. I should also say that I have entered my header and footer in tables with transparent borders I don't know if that makes any difference. Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem?

    You haven't said which version of RoboHelp you are using. 

    • If you are using a Classic version please go to File Help > About and confirm the version shown. If it is 2019 Classic, please add "Classic" when advising the version number.
    • If you are using the New UI, the version number will  be found in Help > About. Please add "New UI" if the version number starts 14.

     

    One way would be to use more table cells so that the first and last cells are blank, effectively giving you margins.

     

    Otherwise in 2020 I just added some text and applied a left margin, that worked without a table. Padding should work within a table cell.
