RH2022 PDF Output 1. Links, 2. Page numbers

I have been working with RH Classic for a long time, but only recently with PDF output in RH 2022:
My 1st problem: internal links to paragraphs of the project do not work in the PDF output. It works fine in the frameless output.
I activated the option for Tagged PDFs in the PDF preset. Is there another setting in the presets or in one of the PDF templates?
And the 2nd:  I can't find the place in the PDF presets where I can activate page numbers in the footer. (I can't find the footer and header settings at all). Does anyone know more?

Please use the photo icon to insert images within the post. Seeing an image inline with the text makes it easier for anyone answering or viewing the post.

Your links are to items on your C drive, that is not accessible to others so they will fail. Links in a PDF have to be to content within the PDF or to files that are accessible from a browser. You need to liaise with your IT people to put them somewhere on a web server.

    1. There is no setting, the links should work as they do in a simple test I just ran. Create a new project with just two topics and a link. Does the link work there?
    2. Page numbers are defined in the page layouts of whichever template you are using. See https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/outputs/pdf_templates.htm You edit the page layout for the sections where you want page numbering.

I work part-time, so it sometimes takes me a while to reply.

For testing purposes, I added new links in the default topics of RH as you requested.
The result is the same as for the existing imported topics. Here are my test results for the link issue:

Links to other topics are active (hand cursor), but do not work. There is a link to the html file that can't be opened. See attached screenshot.  This is faulty.
Links within the topics are active (hand cusor), but no action is proceeded although I created a link to a bookmark on the end of the page.  (I am not clear about the possible results of links within a topic.)
