RH2022 Search box does not appear

Maybe there’s a ghost in the machine, but I put the same code for Searchbox that I used in a project that’s working just fine, but in the newer project … no search box:

the specs: in the Layout section:

9 px for the right margin;

float-right,

position-fixed,

right-1 px
