RH2022 - Search results not appearing and freezing

Hello, community. We are using RH2022.3.93 and creating responsive HTML 5 outputs. We then zip the files and have our digital team upload the webhelp to our corporate support page and build it into a help button within our application. I recently published an updated webhelp and there is an issue with the search functionality. When a search term is entered into either search field in the webhelp, it comes up with a count of results, e.g., 14 results found, but then none of the results appear. Then the system freezes and the user is unable to click the ToC or Index or Filter buttons. They might even get a "Page needs to be reloaded" error (though not every time).

I noticed other posts about a similar issue, but they were about CHM files and the publication methods were different. I'm generating output and then having our tech teams deploy the webhelp separately (not publishing through Robo's publish tool set).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

If the generated help works fine when created locally, then it's got to be something in the unpacking and installation of the files on the webserver. As Peter suggests, make sure they clear out the old version completely before bringing in a new one.

@Jeff_Coatsworth Probably just the whx folder will do it. Known issue.

lol - I never trust devs - "I'm giving you a whole new website each time; you blitz the old files & put all these new ones in!"

I don't know how IT are uploading. Suggest they delete the whx folder from the server and upload again.
