RH2022 search screen does not appear

A new problem has arisen: When I click the Search icon, it properly moves to the left side of the screen, but the Search text box appears squashed. For example:

 I tried to describe this problem in an earlier post, but it seems to have disappeared.

I’ve been comparing specs between this project and another that works just fine, but haven’t found any differences. Also, I checked for and have accepted updates.
