RH8: Centering table page centers text inside page

I have a webhelp imported from MS word with many tables. I used a table style to set up the tables in MS word.

What I want: Table centered on page. Text inside table aligned left.

What I get in preview and webhelp output: Table centered on page. Text inside table centered in table

(In the RH editor, the table looks how I want it with the table centered and the text aligned left)

I've tried setting the text to the normal style, but that didn't do anything.

I know I can manually edit the HTML code, but I don't have the time to do that.
